   Student Instruction:

Student Instruction: MDI provides instruction that leads to independent skills for the student. Instruction is one-on -one; however, occasionally group instruction is appropriate. All instruction is direct, structured and delivered with multi sensory teaching techniques. MDI uses an adapted form of the internationally known Orton-Gillingham approach to teach language skills. The standards of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators are used in the preparation and assessment of instructors. Persons with dyslexia can develop competence in reading, writing, math and adequate skills in spelling. MDI's work has helped thousands of students, giving them greater opportunities for educational, occupational and personal achievement.

Fees are charged for services, however financial aid is often available.
